Second Edition of Malta Boat Show Featured Over 160 Boats And 75 Exhibitors

The second edition of the Malta Boat Show is taking place at Dockyard Creek, between Bormla and l-Isla. This annual event showcases everything related to the maritime sector, a key industry for the Maltese economy.

This year’s edition builds on last year’s success, with substantial growth in scale, now covering 1.5 kilometres of quays, featuring over 75 exhibitors and 160 boats of various sizes.
For the first time, the Malta Boat Show welcomes international exhibitors, including companies from Italy and France, further cementing Malta’s reputation as a centre of maritime excellence in the Mediterranean. Malta boasts the largest maritime flag in Europe and ranks among the top worldwide in the superyacht sector.
Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Public Works Chris Bonett noted that for many years, the Maltese industry had to look abroad to promote its services. “Today, Malta itself has become the destination,” said Minister Bonett. “We have professionals, investors, and visitors choosing Malta as the place to meet, invest, and collaborate. This is a clear sign of sustainable growth and confidence in our country.”

He explained that the sector is one of the pillars of Malta Vision 2050. “The success we are seeing today is the result of collective work between industry professionals, policymakers, private companies, and investors,” concluded Minister Bonett.
The Malta Boat Show is open until Sunday, 2 November, throughout the day.
