SDM Elects Majority In KSU Elections: Independent President Elected

SDM has maintained its majority within the Kunsill Studenti Universitarji (KSU) following the results of today’s student elections.

The President, however, was elected from the Independent group ‘Mill-Istudent, Għall-Istudent’: Nick Muscat.

The Vice Presidents were both elected from SDM, with Keith Calleja taking on VP for Internal Affairs and Sam Delia taking on VP for External Affairs.

SDM also elected Ella Micalelf Darmenia for Secretary General, Lisa Fenech Pace for Media and Design Officer and Gaby Diacono for Culture and Entertainment Officer.

The Independents elected Angelie Feroleto for Finance Officer, Matthias Zahra for Student and International Affairs, and Francesca Anastasi for Culture and Entertainment Coordinator.

SDM thus secured five of the nine contested seats, which, together with three candidates elected unopposed, brings its total representation on the council to eight members.

Mill-Istudent, Għall-Istudent also welcomed the historic KSU election, with Muscat becoming the first independent president within KSU since the 1990s.SDM Elects Majority In KSU Elections: Independent President Elected
