Scaffolding Collapse In Imsida Due To Strong Winds

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and the Occupational Health & Safety Authority (OHSA) yesterday responded to a scaffolding collapse in Triq il-Ħarrub, Imsida due to intense winds hitting the islands.
The two authorities ordered the immediate end of work on the site and issued a call for assistance from the Civil Protection Department, the Malta Police Force and Enemalta.
Reminding the importance of the 138 helpline, the two authorities also reiterated their call for every temporary structure and machinery to be left in a non-hazardous state.
