“Save Alex Borg” Turns Maltese Politics Into A Game

A game has been launched which turns Malta’s political environment into a simple activity, with this one focusing on ‘saving’ PN Leader Alex Borg from ‘political gaffes.’

‘“Save Alex Borg! – Dodge the Gaffes” takes the mechanics of Malta’s modern political environment and turns them into something brutally simple: survive the news cycle. Microphones become obstacles. Headlines become hazards. Social media posts become incoming fire.’

‘Politics no longer moves at the speed of policy’, the creators explained. ‘It moves at the speed of screenshots. Of clips. Of viral reactions. One badly phrased sentence can dominate the national conversation before clarification even leaves the draft folder.’

Players can move using the keyboard arrow keys, and they need to stay away from microphones, newspapers, tweets and Facebook as these can ‘trigger one of Alex’s silly statements.’
