Sarah Bajada Speaks Out Against Hate Targeting Love Island Malta Contestants

Taking to social media, partner of PN Leader Alex Borg, Sarah Bajada, spoke out against the hatred directed Love Island Malta contestants.

Making reference to some comments who excused the hate by saying that these contestants chose to go on television, Bajada disagreed and said that this does not excuse the online bullying that takes place.

Some of the contestants might have fought for years internally over their own self-perception, she said. “Love Island might have been their chance to come out of their shell and feel good about themselves.”

Instead of support, she said, “they find keyboard warriors who bring them down.”

“Never let the voice of anyone who does not know you destroy your self-perception”, said Bajada. “The courage you showed to enter the villa, show who you are and be vulnerable, is much more powerful than these opinions.”
