Sarah Bajada Raises Awareness On Domestic Violence

Sarah Bajada Raises Awareness On Domestic Violence
Local

Taking to social media, Sarah Bajada asked what if someone wore make-up not for filming as she does on a daily basis, but to hide bruises caused from domestic violence.

A campaign is currently ongoing to raise awareness about domestic violence, with Sarah contributing to the conversation by speaking out about how many end up feeling they need to hide their pain from society.

Our children deserve to see us respected, loved, happy and alive, she said. Kids will be noticing, and they could grow up to think this is normal, when it in fact isn’t.

She appealed to those experiencing such violence, or those who know of someone who might be going through it, to take the first step and call the domestic violence helpline 179 as support is real.

‘You are not the problem. You have value and deserve a life where make-up is just make-up.’
