Sarah Bajada has spoken out on World Suicide Prevention Day, addressing the sensitive subject that any people find themselves hesitant to speak about.

Bajada argued that "we need to talk about suicide openly, compassionately and without stigma," emphasising the need for more awareness regarding the subject.

She encouraged all those going through a difficult patch in their lives, saying that "if you feel there is no way out, please remember: THERE IS Even if you cannot see it right now," while remarking that "asking for help is never a weakness."

She addressed that fact that "for the reset of us, we need to listen more, judge less, and check in on the people around us," highlighting that "one conversation can make a difference. It can even save a life."
