Sarah & Sam Surprise Alex At PN National Convention

Sarah Bajada, PN Leader Alex Borg’s partner, shared a heartwarming post of Sam running up to Alex as he prepared for the Nationalist Party National Convention.

‘At the beginning of this chapter, I openly spoke about my fears of what this role would mean for our family’, wrote Sarah.

‘I always said I would support Alex. And I meant every word. But support doesn’t always look like standing still beside him. Sometimes it means adjusting’, she continued.

‘Changing our usual rhythm. Sneaking behind the scenes just to get a squishy hug before starting an event and reworking our normal so he can still experience our little moments the way he always did.’

‘Because when the man you love chooses a path of service, you don’t just celebrate him, you feel the weight of it too and this may be something most people don’t understand when I talk about parenthood while being in this role.’

‘As a mother who fought hard for stability and peace, the unknown scared me initially. But a few months in, I see it differently. Yes, life has changed. But our values haven’t.

If anything, this role has brought out the best in him’, she added.
