The 7th of July Square in Santa Luċija has been renovated by the Santa Luċija Local Council through funding provided by LESA.

Located in the heart of the locality and adjacent to the parish church, the square is a popular and well-loved space within the Santa Luċija community. The renovation includes new lighting, new benches, and picnic tables.

LESA has invested €5 million in community projects carried out by local councils in various towns and villages across Malta and Gozo. For this year alone, the agency has committed nearly €2 million to finance thirty-two projects across the Maltese Islands.

Local Enforcement System Agency (LESA) Fund, which is a Maltese government fund that reinvests revenue from traffic and other fines into local communities. This fund supports projects for local councils in areas like infrastructure, community spaces, and sustainable transport.
