Sandro Vella Wins The Best Chef Award in Malta for 2025 At The Definitive(ly) Good Guide Awards

The Definitive(ly) Good Guide to Restaurants Awards Ceremony was hosted on Monday 8th December, with Sandro Vella taking The Best Chef Award.
Sandro Vella is the chef at Step15, a beloved restaurant on Telgha tas-Saqqajja in Rabat.
Along with Sandro’s award, the restaurant also maintained its position among Malta’s Top Restaurants. This list is solely based on feedback from diners who took part in the annual survey.
The awards ceremony was supported by The Malta Tourism Agency, Global Payments, and the Malta Food Agency.
In a post to their Instagram, the restaurant congratulated Sandro, who they’ve previously described as “the soul of our kitchen and the heart behind every dish.”
