Sandro Grech's Wife, Abigail, With Heartfelt Thank You To Malta And Prime Minister

Sandro Grech’s wife, Abigail, released a statement to the public, extending her sincerest gratitude for all those who attended her husband’s funeral, sent messages, thoughts, and prayer.

Abigail also thanked Minister Byron Camilleri and Prime Minister Robert Abela for being in attendance, stating that their presence “meant a lot.”

Loved ones and the Maltese public had the opportunity to bid Sandro a final farewell yesterday at his funeral organised by The Malta Police Force.

“Heartfelt thanks for the The Malta Police Force for the amazing ceremony they organised with so much care and detail,” shared Abigail, “Thank you the Commissioner of Police and all of Sandro's colleagues who truly cared and loved him till the end.”

Abigail proceeded to thank Kurt Calleja for singing at the ceremony, and funeral director Miriam Sapiano for ensuring that everything ran smoothly and Sandro got the send off he deserved.

She closed her statement with a heartbreaking message to her late husband.

“To our love, Sandro Grech. Our watch has ended.Your rest has begun.We now have to learn to live with the heart ache of living without you every day but knowing you are resting in peace and light,” expressed Abigail.

“Thank you Malta.Please keep us in your prayers.”
