Sandro Grech Passes Away After Courageous Battle With Cancer

Sandro Grech, who was battling an aggressive form of leukaemia, sadly passed away last night in a hospital in Beijing, where he was receiving treatment.

Sandro was a father of two beautiful young girls, and a husband to Abigail.

In a post to her Facebook, Abigail shared the news of his passing to the public, who have been keeping Sandro in their prayers.

“Sandro will continue living in the memory of all those who knew him - and we are going to keep loving him forever,” stated Abigail.

Following the public’s generous donations which were eventually matched by the Maltese government, Sandra was able to travel to Beijing for further treatment after all local options were exhausted.

Rest in peace, Sandro and condolences to his loved ones.
