San Pawl Il-Baħar With Highest Number Of House Sales In March

A study released by the National Statistics Office revealed that in the month of March, the locality with the highest amounts of sale agreements promises and final deeds of sale was San Pawl Il-Baħar.

During March, a total of 1,110 properties were transacted through final deeds of sale. Apartments and garages made up the largest portions, with 408 apartments (36.8 per cent) and 239 garages (21.5 per cent) sold.

Aa total of 1,119 promise of sale agreements for residential properties were registered in March 2025, marking a 4.6 per cent decline compared to the same month in 2024.

Of these agreements, 1,014 (or 90.6 per cent) were entered into by individual potential buyers (households), while the remaining agreements primarily involved companies.

The highest number of residential promise of sale agreements was recorded in the Northern Harbour district, with 328 agreements, followed by the Northern district with 218.

In contrast, the lowest numbers were observed in the Western district and the Gozo and Comino district, with 107 and 123 agreements, respectively.

The highest numbers of promise of sale agreements were recorded in the following localities: San Pawl Il-Baħar (98), Il-Mosta (58) and Birkirkara (55).
