Samuel Mamo Completes Navy Aviation Summer School In Florida

Lance Bombardier Samuel Mamo of the Armed Forces of Malta just completed the Navy Aviation Rescue Swimmer School (ARSS) in Pensacola, Florida.
Mamo, who forms part of the Air Wing Rescue Section of the AFM, completed the intense programme of training.
These include water confidence and survival evolutions, open water rescue techniques, helicopter rescue procedures, hoist operations & SAR tactics, emergency medical skills and basic life support, and physical fitness assessments, mission readiness evaluations & swimming evolutions.
