Saharan Dust Takes Over Malta’s Skies

Malta was battered with Saharan dust starting yesterday, Monday 13th April, following days of clear skies and cool breezes.
The sudden weather shift changed the air around the islands into a massive dusty cloud, with rain showers being forecasted for the rest of the week up until Friday.
Temperatures are set to remain high at around 20 degrees Celsius, with any hope of sea-side weather being dashed until further notice.
