Ryan Barbara Sends Powerful Message On World Suicide Prevention Day

Ryan Barbara sent a powerful message on World Suicide Prevention Day, which is commemorated yearly every 10th September.
In a video posted on his social media, Ryan argued that suicide is not a subject that should only be talked about on this particular day, but should be something which people are willing to speak about without fear.
He said that people are still hesitant to speak about the subject, as if speaking about it will make the situation worse. However, Ryan argued that silence won't break the stigma.
He remarked that suicide is a personal matter, having faced darkness in his personal life. However, if he were to look back and send a message to his younger self, he would have said: hold on a bit longer, because you don't know what's coming.
Ryan said that the purpose of the video is to send a message to that person struggling right now, to let him know that he had also dealt with darkness, yet is still here today.
He said that if right now you cannot find a reason to keep going, that does not mean that that reason does not exist.
