Ryan Barbara Departs To London For Placement In Mental Health Services

Ryan Barbara has departed to London for a placement in mental health services, where he'll continue learning about the Peer Worker model and how we can develop it further here in Malta.

He highlighted the significance of this moment, sharing that "exactly 8 years ago, I was in rehab, trying to figure out my life and afraid of what the future might bring," adding that "if someone had told me back then that one day I'd be doing this, I probably would have laughed in their face."

Barbara remarked that "the important thing is to never give up, keep learning, and keep growing on life's terms," while thanking "everyone who has believed in me and supported me along the way. I'm truly humbled, grateful, and more motivated than ever to keep moving forward."
