Rubbish Fire Breaks Out In Ta' Qali Yesterday Afternoon

Yesterday afternoon, the Civil Protection Department responded to a rubbish fire which broke out in Ta’ Qali.
The crew, consisting of firefighters from Fire Stations 3, 4, 8 and 11, remained on site until all hotspots were fully extinguished and it was ensured that cooling operations were completed.
CPD reported having to use a total of 8 assets, including a small excavator which allowed firefighters to safely extinguish concealed pockets of fire.
A medical team, along with police, were also on scene, however no injuries have been officially reported.
