Rodrick Zerafa Calls For Better Banking Service In Cottonera

Taking to social media, Roderick Zerafa, Chief Executive for European Services in Malta and Government Representative for MCESD, issued a post calling for better banking services in Cottonera.

He said that the only BOV branch in Bormla is only open until 11am between Monday and Friday, and is closed on Saturday.

For many, he said, this poses a problem as many older clients need human contact when navigating bank issues. He wrote to the bank to look into the matter, and in a follow up comment, revealed that he was contacted back.

The BOV Chief Executive Kenneth Farrugia explained that bOV will be taking into consideration the proposed changes to see how the matter can be improved.

On his part, Zerafa said that he will keep residents updated with changes.
