During her visit to Athens, Greece, EP President Roberta Metsola and PM Mitsotakis had a heartwarming moment, when a member of PM Mitsotakis office unexpectedly popped out to say hello.
The very social member of Parliament goes by the name Peanut, and he’s tasked with being ““one of Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ most loyal advisors.”
President Metsola shared the sweet moment to her Instagram, humorously stating that Peanut must be “clearly impressed at all the work we’ve done in the European Parliament to protect animal welfare.”
