Robert Abela Vows to Complete 100 New Residential Roads In Gozo Within Three Years

Addressing the crowd at Sannat Square in Gozo, Prime Minister Robert Abela outlined the government’s ongoing commitment to infrastructure development across the island.
He stated that within the next three years, the government aims to complete its programme of one hundred new residential roads in Gozo, noting that significant progress has already been made. “In just a few months, we have already reached the thirteenth completed road,” he said.
Two weeks ago, Clint Camilleri announced the completion of Triq Għajn Qamar in Xagħra, marking the thirteenth road delivered as part of the pledged programme. Minister Camilleri further explained that extensive works are currently underway not only in Xagħra, but also in Triq il-Ġidi and Triq ir-Rabat in Xewkija, alongside several other roads. These include ongoing works on the main artery, Triq it-Tiġrija, connecting Nadur to Qala, as well as advanced-stage developments on the principal road in Marsalforn.
He concluded by affirming that efforts will continue steadily to ensure the fulfilment of the government’s commitments.
