Robert Abela Visits SkolaSajf Activities in Żejtun

Prime Minister Robert Abela visited the SkolaSajf team in Żejtun, where he observed a number of activities being enjoyed by children throughout the summer.

In a social media post, Abela said the visit provided an opportunity to see the different programmes and activities organised for children during the summer months.

The Prime Minister also highlighted a new measure ahead of the upcoming school year, saying the Government will be tripling the grant available to schools from €10,000 to €30,000.

According to Abela, the increased funding is intended to help schools provide greater support to students who need it most.

He said the measure forms part of the Government’s manifesto commitments, stressing that every child should have the opportunity to succeed regardless of their circumstances.
