Road Hazard As Truck Carrying Piles Of Rocks Drives Uncovered

In a post shared to social media, the Malta Ranger Unit issued a warning against not covering truck loads when driving around on local streets.
‘Not covering truck loads is illegal and a danger to others’, the rangers explained.
‘We don’t think we would need to elaborate on what would happen if the truck, for some reason, would need to make a sudden stop or go over bumps in the road.’
‘Not only is it dangerous for others, it’s also bad for the environment with debris and dust escaping the load onto the roads.’
The particular case was reported to LESA for legal action to be taken, with the rangers urging anyone carrying such material to cover the truck load.
