Road Down From Skate Park On Imsida Creek Project Opens Today

Minister for Transport and Infrastructure Chris Bonett has announced that another part of the Imsida Creek Project will be opening today.

A few weeks ago, the Minister announced that the road from Valletta, Pieta and Imsida towards the Skatepark would be opening up and the other lane in the opposite direction would open in three weeks.

That same road will be opening today, around one week ahead of schedule, as works for other parts of the project are set to begin.

‘Work on the project is progressing’, said the Minister, joined by Infrastructure Malta Chief Executive Steve Ellul.

The next milestone, he said, will be the square in front of the Imsida Church, the Minister said, ahead of the Feast of San Ġużepp, so that residents can celebrate the feast with peace of mind and a regenerated square.
