Rita Saliba Raises Over €3,000 For Local Animal Shelter Through Mountaineering Expedition

Rita Saliba, a local mountaineer, has used her trekking talents for a great cause.
After summating the frozen heights of Mount Aconcagua, at al altitude of 9,961 metres, she managed to raise €3,317 for the Association for Abandoned Animals Malta.
She also organised community runs to help gather more funds.
In a post on their social media, the Association for Abandoned Animals extended their sincerest gratitude to Rita, while also congratulating her on her achievement.
“Through her gruelling mountaineering expedition, organised community runs, and the generosity of everyone who donated, Rita has turned step into food, medicine, and shelter for the sanctuary’s residents,” they stated.
