Ricky Caruana Says He’s Being Pushed By People To Contest Election With PL

Taking to social media, local podcaster Ricky Caruana claimed that he is being pushed to contest the general election on behalf of the Labour Party.
‘In Żurrieq and other localities in the vicinity, everyone is telling me to contest so that they can give me the Number 1 vote.’
He said that people were telling him to contest the local council election if the general election was not on the table.
‘I’m not joking, it’s happening everywhere I go.’
Thank you for believing I can represent your needs, Ricky wrote. This comes as the Labour Party opens applications and starts vetting general election candidates.
It also follows PN leader Alex Borg saying that the Prime Minister might call an election this year.
