Residential property prices in Malta continued to increase during the second quarter of 2026, with the Residential Property Price Index (RPPI) reaching 105.94, representing an annual rise of 6.9% when compared to the same period in 2025.

The data shows that property prices also recorded growth on a quarterly basis, with the RPPI increasing by 1.6% compared to the first quarter of 2026.

During the period under review, the Apartments Price Index stood at 106.31, registering an annual increase of 7.4%. Meanwhile, the Maisonettes Price Index reached 103.81, reflecting a yearly rise of 4.3%.

The figures indicate continued growth in the residential property market, with both apartment and maisonette prices recording increases over the previous year. The RPPI tracks changes in residential property prices and provides an indication of trends in the local housing market.
