Residence Malta Agency To Remain Closed After Jonathan Cardona Passing

The Ministry for Education and Sport announced that following the passing of Mr Jonathan Cardona, Chief Executive Officer of the Residence Malta Agency, the Agency will not open its doors tomorrow, Tuesday, 9 June 2026, as a mark of respect and to allow employees to attend the funeral.
The Ministry expressed its sorrow at this loss and thanked Mr Jonathan Cardona for his valuable service and contribution in various roles within the public service over the years.
The Ministry extended its sincere condolences to Mr Cardona’s family, relatives, and friends.
