Rescue Dog Severely Injured After Wearing Nappy For Years

The Abandoned Animals Association Malta shared a heartbreaking series of images of a dog who just entered their care.
The male pup was kept in a home for years, forced to wear a nappy as he was never potty trained.
AAA stated that although they’ve “seen some sores made by nappies,” this case Is different, it’s “a dog nearly cut in half with infection all around.”

They clarified that the previous owners of this poor boy were not in great shape, however the AAA emphasised that this does not excuse animal abuse or neglect.
“Now, all that matters is that this beautiful boy is safe and already on medication and pain relief,” they concluded, “His healing journey starts today.”
