Remembrance Day Parade 2025 Held Today In Valletta

The Armed Forces of Malta along with The Malta Police Force, President Myriam Dalli, PM Robert Abela, and Leader of the Opposition Alex Borg, paid tribute to the nation’s fallen heroes today during the annual Remembrance Day Parade 2025.
The event began at St. John’s Square, where a Guard of Honour was mounted for H.E. The President of Malta.
The ceremony was followed by a Holy Mass at St. John’s Co-Cathedral, commemorating all those who sacrificed their lives in service to Malta and the Commonwealth.
Proceedings continued at the War Memorial in Floriana, where a Wreath Laying Ceremony took place.
The Armed Forces of Malta led the parade, joined by contingents from the Malta Police Force, the AFM Band, ex-servicemen, and associations’ standard bearers and escorts.
As the President arrived at the War Memorial, the AFM General Staff Member ordered the Cenotaph Guard to rest arms and reverse.
The Last Post was sounded by AFM trumpeters, followed by a gunfire salute and the Reveille.
The ceremony concluded with a poignant Poppy Drop performed by the AFM’s Britten Norman BN-2T Islander aircraft, symbolising remembrance and respect.
