Regeneration Of San Vinċenz De Paul Continues

The regeneration of the San Vinċenz de Paul complex has continued with the full renovation and official inauguration of two main wards St Francis 1 and St Francis 2 located on the eastern side of the complex, adjacent to the Ġnien ix-Xewqat Sbieħ, also known as the Dementia Garden.
Following several months of extensive works, the two wards were officially inaugurated by the Minister for Health and Active Ageing, Jo Etienne Abela, together with Parliamentary Secretary for Active Ageing, Malcolm Paul Agius Galea, Permanent Secretary Renzo Degabriele, and San Vinċenz de Paul CEO, Jorgen Souness.

The €1.6 million renovation project aimed to transform these wards into a modern, comfortable, and functional environment that meets today’s standards. The upgrades include larger rooms, increased natural light, new water and electrical systems, private and more accessible bathrooms, and a new oxygen supply system installed in each room.
