Redefining HR Excellence: FHRD Launches Professional Individual Certification Scheme

The Malta Foundation for Human Resources Development (FHRD) has introduced a new Professional Individual Certification Scheme, marking a significant step forward for HR in Malta. This initiative formally recognises HR professionals’ skills and supports FHRD’s mission to establish national standards in human resource development.
Far more than a traditional certification, the scheme offers a structured framework for growth, leadership, and lifelong learning at every career stage.
Three Certification Levels for Every Career Stage
The scheme offers three distinct certification levels tailored to varying levels of experience:
Associate Certification: For junior to mid-level professionals in operational HR roles such as HR Administrator or Business Partner.
Fellow Certification: For senior HR leaders, consultants, or strategists with extensive experience and high-level responsibilities.
Student Certification: For full-time students pursuing a future in HR, recognising academic focus and professional ambition.
Each level has clear eligibility criteria to ensure appropriate assessment and certification.
