Red Cross Help Tourist Who Fell & Hurt His Head At Santa Maria Cave, Mġarr

Earlier today, during a patrol near Santa Maria Cave in Mġarr, Malta Red Cross teams responded to an incident involving a tourist who fell and sustained a head injury.
The rescuers worked swiftly and professionally to safely evacuate the casualty from the cave.
The team provided immediate medical care on site. Fortunately, after assessment and treatment, it was determined that only minor injuries had been sustained.
‘This incident highlights the importance of having trained emergency responders actively patrolling our coastline and ready to intervene when needed. Thanks to the rapid response and professionalism of our teams, the situation was managed before it could escalate into something more serious.’
