Record Breaking Number Of 21 Individuals To reach Everest Base Camp

The Malta Records has officially recognised a group of 21 Maltese adventurers as the largest Maltese team to successfully reach Everest Base Camp, located at an altitude of 5,364 metres.

The group completed a challenging 130-kilometre trek over 12 days, wrapping up their expedition on 25th March 2025.

This remarkable achievement was led by MexVentures, a company known for organising high-altitude adventures and extreme trekking expeditions. MexVentures is run by Ryan Farrugia, who is well-known for pioneering such adventures within the Maltese community.
