Record 40,000 People Attend Isle Of MTV 2026, Says Tourism Minister

In a post shared to social media, Minister for Tourism Jo Etienne Abela said that yesterday’s Isle of MTV 2026 saw a whopping 40,000 people attend.
The record number was reached yesterday at Floriana’s Fosos, with the tens of thousands flocking to watch Katy Perry, Afrojack and local talent such as Aidan perform.
The spectacle is set to be broadcast to over 150 countries to give visibility to the Maltese islands, promoting them as a tourist destination to more and more people.
