‘RamDamDiriDam’: Gaia and Destiny Team Up For Junior Eurovision Theme Song 2026

The Public Broadcasting Services (PBS) has revealed ‘RamDamDiriDam’, the new theme song for the Malta’s Junior Eurovision 2026. Featuring Malta’s past winners Gaia Cauchi and Destiny, the two powerhouses are joining forces to bring traditional Maltese festas to the European stage.

The upbeat anthem combines contemporary pop sounds with the colour, energy and heart of a Maltese village festa. From marching bands in the streets to fireworks lighting up the sky, the song captures the feeling of Malta’s most iconic celebrations, with a catchy chorus designed to get everyone singing along.

Written and composed by Gordon Bonello, Matteo Depares and Aleandro Spiteri Monsigneur, “RamDamDiriDam” brings a uniquely Maltese sound to the this year’s live contest on October 24th.

Gaia Cauchi, who won Junior Eurovision in 2013, and Destiny, who secured our second victory in 2015, will return to the competition as hosts, joined by local presenter Keane Cutajar.
