Rabbit In Cage Dumped Outside Shelter Gate In Cold & Wind

The Association for Abandoned Animals shared a story of how a rabbit in a cage was dropped off outside their sanctuary gate during the early hours of the morning.
‘We were there at around 5:00am and the rabbit was already there’, AAA explained. ‘In that cold and in that wind, and he and his cage could have easily blown in Ħal Far road.’
‘The irresponsibility of it all is mind blowing and we will be checking the cameras’, AAA explained. The rabbit is currently staying at the AAA reception given that the sanctuary is full of dogs.
The rabbit was taken to the vet for a quick check up as she was very stressed. She is thankfully fine, with a home potentially already being an option.
