Rabat’s Iconic Paper Spectacle Returns for St Paul Feast Celebrations

One of Rabat’s most anticipated annual traditions is set to return on Sunday 5th July as the Spettaklu ta' Karti transforms St Paul's Square into a colourful celebration.

Organised by the Żgħażagħ Rabtin Pawlini in collaboration with Visit Malta, the spectacle will begin at 12:00pm in the heart of Rabat during the Feast of St Paul festivities.

The event is renowned for its synchronised display of confetti, coloured paper, and smoke, creating a vibrant visual experience that attracts hundreds of spectators every year.

Open to visitors of all ages, the Paper Spectacle has become a highlight of the feast celebrations, combining tradition, entertainment, and community spirit in one unforgettable display.

Organisers are inviting the public to head to St Paul's Square on Sunday afternoon to experience one of Malta's most unique and colourful feast traditions.
