Qui-Si-Sana Beach Reopened For Swimming, Reports Local Council

The Sliema Local Council have confirmed that Qui-Si-Sana beach is once again safe for swimming, after “necessary repair works and the subsequent clearance from the health authorities.”
The bay was closed after there was severe damage to a nearby water pipe during water mains works.
Following water quality testing and the latest inspection, the bay is now reopened to the public.
“We would like to thank the Environmental Health Directorate, the Water Services Corporation, and all those involved in resolving the issue promptly and efficiently,” shared Sliema Local Council on their social media.
“We also thank residents and visitors for their patience, understanding, and cooperation throughout the temporary closure,” they continued, “We wish everyone a safe and enjoyable time at Qui-Si-Sana Beach.”
The Department of Information also confirmed that Qui-Si-Sana beach is once again open, posting an image showing the entire area which is now available to swimmers.
