Pulse Win JC Student Council Elections For 10th Year In A Row

For the tenth year in a row, the student organisation Pulse has secured victory in the Junior College student council elections, once again outperforming rival group SDM.
The election, held on Friday, saw Pulse achieve an absolute majority, winning seven out of eight seats on the Junior College Student Council (KSJC).
The new council will be led by Amjad Zina, who will take on the role of president. He will be joined by Rowan Schembri, Martina Sammut, Kym Kelly Debono, Salvu Pecorella, Mauro Mifsud, Starr Scicluna and Matthias Balzan.
The KSJC elections are a key moment in the college’s academic year, with students engaging in weeks of campaigning, discussions and promotional activities. Both Pulse and SDM have long been influential voices on campus, each putting forward proposals aimed at improving student life and strengthening the community.
Pulse’s continued run of victories reflects its strong support base and lasting appeal among Junior College students. The newly elected council is expected to prioritise student wellbeing, campus involvement, and the continuation of initiatives that enhance the overall college experience.
