Proposal In The Works For 1st Vocational Secondary School

In a statement, Minister for Education Byron Camilleri revealed that the ministry is currently working on a proposal that would see the establishment of the first secondary vocational school in Malta.
The Minister said that, as it stands, those students who would like to study such vocational hands-on subjects, would go on to MCAST or ITS.
He asked whether such students are being given the same clear road as that given to students who continue on to the University of Malta. The proposal would aim to making this path easier for these students, the Minister said.
He asked anyone with any ideas to come forward and submit their ideas at edukazzjoni@gov.mt, before a former consultation takes place.
