Professional Competitive Eater Leah Shutkever Breaks Record for Most Pastizzi Eaten

Professional competitive eater Leah Shutkever visited Malta to take on a unique food challenge at the iconic Is-Serkin – Crystal Palace Bar in Rabat. Attempting the record for the most pastizzi eaten in one sitting, she explained that the target to beat was 15 pastizzi. With 15 cheese and 15 chicken pastizzi placed in front of her, Leah went on to eat an astonishing 23 pastizzi in just 20 minutes, setting a new record.

Leah Shutkever is a British professional competitive eater and content creator who has become one of the world's most accomplished speed eaters. She has earned international recognition by holding 40 Guinness World Records, making her one of the most successful competitors in the sport. Known for her speed, technique, and determination, she has broken records involving foods ranging from muffins and pasta to strawberries and marshmallows.

After completing the challenge, Leah described the pastizzi as "lovely and delicious" but admitted they were "incredibly calorie-dense" and "incredibly heavy." She said the challenge was much harder than it looked, requiring a lot of chewing and making it one of the toughest eating challenges she has attempted. Despite the difficulty, she successfully broke the pastizzi-eating record by consuming 23 pastizzi in 20 minutes.
