Pro-Choice Rally Taking Place Next Saturday 26th In Valletta

A Pro-Choice rally is set to be held next Saturday 26th September at 5pm, with the theme being ‘Hey Sis! Thinking of You!’.
The theme was chosen because, ‘while the state continues to ignore women and people who can get pregnant, women are supporting and helping one another, both practically and emotionally.’
The organisers explained that ‘Women in Malta have built a community that refuses to leave anyone behind. This rally be a celebration of that solidarity and a call for abortion to be decriminalised in Malta.’
The event will begin with a march from Castille Square and will end at St George’s Square, where speakers, feminist choir Re-Sisters and others will address attendees.
