Prime Minister Visits Corradino's Forn Tal-Ħabs For Holy Week

Prime Minister Robert Abela paid a visit to one of Malta’s oldest and largest bakeries on the island, Corradino’s ‘Mill Forn Tal-Ħabs’.
The bakery dates back to 1850, and paid a crucial role during World War II by selling bread at affordable prices during severe food shortages.
The bakery is renowned for its traditional Easter bread, Qagħqa tal-Appostli, which it will be producing for this Holy Week once again.
Prime Minister Robert Abela, along with Minister for Home Affairs, Security and Employment Byron Camilleri, paid a visit to the bakery, commending all those working there for their dedication and service.
‘During this time of year, we should show our appreciation to the Correctional Agency officials and the detained persons’ work as part of the latter’s road to rehabilitation’, wrote Abela.
