Prime Minister Visits Carnival Celebrations In Valletta

Prime Minister Robert Abela, joined by his wife Lydia, visited the Carnival celebrations taking place in Valletta yesterday.
The Abela’s visited the various dancing troupes ready to perform at the Carnival, and promised to watch them as they danced much to their excitement.
The Prime Minister also met with the organisers and the workers at the event, who make the spectacle possible. Minister for Culture Owen Bonnici and Valletta mayor Olaf McKay welcomed Abela to the backstage of the spectacle, but not before he sat down with the audience to watch some of the shows being put up.
