Marking 6 years in office, Robert Abela unveiled a brand new portrait to mark the occasion.
Tonight, Abela will be leading a special event in Cottonera to mark the occasion.
Abela obtained over 9,000 of the votes against Chris Fearne’s 6,000+ votes at the internal party elections on January 12th 2020.
With over 92% of the MLP members casting their vote in party clubs around the country, Abela was proclaimed new leader.
Then Prime Minister Joseph Muscat resigned from his post, paving the way for President George Vella to appoint Abela as the new prime minister.
