Prime Minister Robert Abela Hints At Strong Budget

Prime Minister Robert Abela has hinted at a strong upcoming budget, ahead of the next few months which could see the Labour leader call for a general election after the Nationalist Party’s change of leadership.

Taking to Facebook, Abela wrote that him and his cabinet began discussing and consulting each other about yet “another strong upcoming budget.”

Continuing on Abela stated that “We welcomed the representatives of small and medium-sized businesses and emphasised that we will continue to deliver on what we promised, while maintaining the substantial support we are providing through the energy subsidy in favour of these same businesses and families.”

In recent weeks Robert Abela has also told journalists that the upcoming budget will be the ’best in the country’s history,’.
