PRIME MINISTER ROBERT ABELA HIGHLIGHTS UNITY, OPPORTUNITY AND NATIONAL VISION IN ŻURRIEQ ADDRESS

Speaking at a political activity in Żurrieq, Prime Minister and Labour Party Leader Robert Abela emphasised his movement’s continued belief in opportunity, aspiration, and the potential of every individual to achieve their dreams.

Dr Abela stated that people remain at the heart of the Labour movement, which he said has delivered significant changes to help the country move forward, ensuring that more people can succeed and no one is left behind. He added that Malta should continue to progress and succeed on par with, or even beyond, larger nations.

He said the movement has continued to grow because it remains closely connected to people’s realities, insisting that it has never turned away from hardship and never will. He described the Labour Party as a strong “shield” for workers and businesses, steering the country through various challenges over time.

Referring to the party’s “Int Malta” manifesto, Dr Abela described it as a strong and forward-looking programme rooted in people’s stories and aspirations. He said the Labour Party would remain present at every stage of life, supporting citizens to ensure better and easier living conditions.

The Prime Minister added that the party is committed to continuing to work on the dreams of all sectors of society, including workers, entrepreneurs, young people starting families, persons with disabilities, students, and future generations.

He concluded by calling for renewed trust in the party’s vision, saying it is a shared national project aimed at strengthening unity between Maltese and Gozitans and achieving continued progress for the country.
