Prime Minister Congratulates New MPs Elected Via Casual Election

Prime Minister Robert Abela issued a statement congratulating all the new MPs elected via the casual election on behalf of the Labour Party this morning.
These include Rebecca Buttigieg, Ramona Attard, Mariah Meli, Clint Azzopardi Flores, Naomi Cachia, Alex Muscat, Andy Ellul and Franco Mercieca.
‘I would like to thank all the candidates on behalf of the Labour Party who campaigned in the general election so that we secured a strong and historic mandate’, said the PM.
‘Today we have continued to strengthen the Parliamentary Group in favour of the important work that we need to carry out in this legislature.’
