President Roberta Metsola To Visit Kyiv Amidst Russia and Ukraine Conflict

Roberta Metsola is once again travelling to Kyiv, the capital city of Ukraine amid the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
As President of the European Parliament, Metsola consistently demonstrates her support for Ukraine through frequent visits and meetings with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, president of Ukraine.
Metsola was the first leader of EU institutions to visit Kyiv after the Russian attack on 1 April 2022. Her most recent visit to Ukraine’s capital was in May 2024, however she met with President Zelenskyy on June 25th 2025.
In recognition for her unwavering efforts, President Metsola also received the Ukrainian Order of Merit in First Class.
